We believe that customer's satisfaction is our primary concern. In order to do that, we keep informing our clients of all phases of their incoming shipments. Upon the completion of the delivery service, we, internally, make post-move calls to see if they are settled for our A-1 service.

Phases of Inbound shipment

1. Arrival of shipment

We are notified of all information on your door-to-door shipment as soon as it is shipped out at the port of the exporting country. We will accordingly arrange with the steamship line about bonded transportation from the port to the customs house one day before its arrival.

2. Bonded transportation

After a container has arrived at the port, the stevedoring company will then unload and haul it to the container yard or container freight station. The transportation of all imported household goods to customs house is obligatorily performed by customs authorities. It normally takes between 7 days and 12 days. Details are as shown below:

Classifying FCL Shipment	6 working days
Classifying LCL Shipment	11 working days
Inland Trucking	1 working day

3. Required Documents

In order to have smooth customs clearance, we require the original Bill of Lading, Legible inventories and the shipper's passport & family members' if accompanied from origin agent and/or shipper. For more information, Please refer to Korean Customs Regulations.

4. Customs clearance

Upon obtaining all needed documents for customs clearance. A-1 TRANS will dispatch customs broker to the Customs House. The Customs Broker will perform an inspection according to the inventories and the Bill of Lading to insure that the whole consignment has arrived. The Customs Broker will then pay all fees, if any, required by the Customs Authorities such as; haulage, bonded storage & transportation, wharfage, et cetera and will clear customs.

5. Transportation/Storage

It will be loaded onto an A-1 TRANS' containerized truck or container carrier, delivered and assembled at the final destination. If the shipment requires storage, it will be loaded onto an A-1 TRANS truck and transported to an A-1 TRANS' warehouse and stored therein until delivery and installation is requested.

6. Delivery service

After customs clearance, your goods will be delivered to your new Residence by van trucks of A-1 TRANS'. Safe unpacking, setting up and removal of debris will be preceded by delivery.
